A Bible You Will Learn to Use
You will not be handed a Bible and expected to work it out alone. Throughout your journey, your Personal Discovery Manual, the New King James Spirit-Filled Life Study Bible and your certified coach work together.
You will learn how to find the right passages, understand their context and use the Bible’s study tools. The goal is not to make you dependent on your coach. It is to help you become confident in discovering biblical truth for yourself—during the programme and for the rest of your life.

Transformational Freedom Events — Included in Your Journey
Freedom Events—also known as Encounter Weekends—are powerful milestones throughout your Growing Deep and Strong® journey.
After spending time learning who God is and applying biblical truth to your life, you step away from everyday distractions and spend focused time with Him. In a safe and confidential environment, certified coaches and a trained prayer ministry team walk alongside you as you bring past hurts, recurring life patterns, relationships, emotions and personal struggles before God.
What Happens During a Freedom Event?
Freedom Events are carefully guided, confidential weekends where biblical truth is taught and then given time to become personal. You are supported by certified coaches and a trained prayer ministry team throughout the process.
Clear, biblically grounded teaching helps you understand how past wounds, choices, beliefs and recurring patterns can affect your present life—and how God’s truth offers a different way forward.
You work privately through carefully prepared pages and questions that help you recognise what has shaped you and identify what you are ready to bring before God.
Certified coaches and trained team members walk alongside you with compassion, respect and practical encouragement. You are not expected to navigate the weekend alone.
When you are ready, the prayer ministry team supports you personally as you respond to God, seek healing, release what has held you and receive prayer for freedom and restoration.
Safe, respectful and confidential: Personal ministry is never about pressure or public disclosure. Each person is treated with dignity, and each person’s experience and outcomes will differ.

A Milestone Worth Celebrating
Completing your Growing Deep and Strong® journey is about far more than reaching the end of a programme. It marks a journey of commitment, personal discovery, healing, freedom and genuine heart transformation.
At the conclusion of your final Freedom Event, those who have completed their Growing Deep and Strong® journey are formally recognised and presented with a Growing Deep and Strong® Certificate of Completion.
This is a special opportunity for certified coaches, the prayer team and fellow participants to honour your commitment, celebrate the victories God has brought into your life and encourage you as you step into the next season of your journey.
Many groups also choose to conclude the final Freedom Event with an optional celebration dinner. It is a joyful time to gather around the table, share stories, strengthen friendships, give thanks to God and celebrate the personal victories experienced throughout the journey.
The dinner is optional and depends on arrangements made by each Training Centre. Personal meals, accommodation and travel are arranged and paid for separately.

Your First 20 Weeks
Your foundation journey follows a clear sequence: Module One, Freedom Event One, Module Two and Freedom Event Two. Both Freedom Events are included.
Understand who God is, what Jesus has done and what it means that you have become a Christian.
You can begin with little or no church background. Your coach and manual help you build clear, stable foundations one step at a time.
A safe and confidential setting for Bible teaching, prayer, reflection, encouragement and personal ministry.
You have supported time to consider what you have learned, bring personal matters to God in prayer and seek healing, restoration and freedom. Each person’s experience and outcomes will differ.
Apply what the Bible teaches to the areas that shape your relationships, decisions, influence and future.
You learn how the Bible’s teaching connects with your relationships, words, integrity, family, finances and choices. The focus is change that grows from the heart, not simply outward behaviour.
A second safe and prayerful setting to reflect on attitudes, motives, relationships and recurring patterns.
You can seek God’s help as you continue applying biblical truth to your character and everyday life. The event offers prayer and support without promising a particular outcome.

The Complete 40-Week Journey
After your first 20 weeks, you can continue into identity, gifts, purpose and servant leadership. The complete journey includes three Freedom Events in total. Not everyone is expected to become a coach; coach formation is a separate possible next step.
Understand how God has shaped you and discover the identity, gifts, purpose and assignment He has placed within you.
You are helped to recognise how your story, gifts and faith can serve people in your family, workplace, church and community.
Begin helping others follow Jesus, grow in faith and discover how they can serve and influence the people around them.
This stage can prepare you to encourage and serve others responsibly. Some participants may later explore coach formation, while many will apply servant leadership in other settings.
Faith for Everyday Life
As your faith becomes clearer and more settled, you can bring truth, character, wisdom and love into your relationships, work, family, church and community.
The first 20 weeks establish strong foundations. The complete 40-week journey helps you explore identity, purpose and servant leadership.
Your Sphere of Influence
Every Christian has a different story and place of influence. You can learn to serve people faithfully without needing to leave your current work, family or community.
Growing Deep and Strong® sometimes describes this as becoming a “societal reformer”: a Christian whose changed life brings positive change to people and everyday places.
Before You Apply
Allow approximately 30 minutes for weekly teaching, 10–15 minutes most days for Personal Discovery and up to 90 minutes for your relational group session. Your group can meet face-to-face or online through Zoom.
You receive the participant materials for your chosen journey, page-numbered Bible guidance, pre-recorded weekly teaching, support from a certified coach and the scheduled Freedom Events included with that journey. Postage and your personal travel, accommodation and meals are separate.
No. You can begin with little or no Bible knowledge. The foundation module, participant manual and your coach help you learn how to find passages and understand the central truths of the Christian faith.
Your coach guides the weekly group, welcomes honest questions, helps you understand unfamiliar Bible passages and connects what you are learning with everyday life. Your coach also helps you prepare for the included Freedom Events and treats personal conversations with care, within the programme’s safeguarding boundaries.
